Frequently Asked Question
All staff can print using mobile devices. If you're using your laptop you'll need to be connected to the eduroam or UniOfCam Wi-Fi networks to access the browser-based printing system, rather than be connected via Ethernet cable. We recommend eduroam at all times since you can move around the University without having to re-enter credentials.

1) Ensure you have a printing account with Murray Edwards. If you are a new member of staff, please open a ticket and fill in the form, selecting the Help Topic Desktop Services / Printing, Scanning and Copying / Laptop/Mobile Printing.
2) If you have printed from this laptop/mobile before, or you're sure you know your account user name (usually firstname.surname) and password (usually your Murray Edwards PC or Raven), open https://print.murrayedwards.private.cam.ac.uk:9443/end-user/ui/login in any browser and sign in.
Please be aware that all usernames take the form of firstname.surname and the password is your @murrayedwards password.
3) Click Upload job, then you can either drag and drop files onto the green box, or choose "select files" and pick the files to upload.
Your Dashboard should then show the uploaded document.
4) Sign into the printer you wish to release the job on with your University card. If you do not have your University card, you can sign in manually with your credentials from step 2.
If logging in without a University card please be aware that all logins take the form of firstname.surname and password is your @murrayedwards.cam.ac.uk password. If you're having problems logging in please open a ticket.
You can then choose SafeQ print and release individual or all print jobs.
