Fellows - File shares in OneDrive

Open Office 365 by signing in to www.office.com using your @cam account. You may wish to use a private browser in Edge (InPrivate - Ctrl+Shift+N), or Chrome (Incognito Mode - Ctrl+Shift+N) to avoid browser login clashes if you frequently work using different sign-ins.

Open OneDrive from the 'waffle'

You can also use the My Content tab, click Cloud files, and then then click the OneDrive button. This method gives you a broader view of your online file system.

Under this Cloud files section, you'll also see areas where others have shared files with you.

We suggest creating a separate area for files you wish to share.

In here you can upload the files you wish to share using the Upload button and upload from file explorer in the familiar manner.

Once uploaded, you may see a pop-up inviting you to Share.

You can then edit your sharing options, for example type your contact's CRSid, click the pencil drop-down logo (1) to set edit or read-only (here read-only is set). Click on the access level to open detailed options for access permissions (2).

Customise your options, including the ability to download copies:

Click Apply here and Send when you are returned to the first of these two share screens.

Your contact will then receive an email inviting them to view the file in your OneDrive file-system.
