Equipment:

Most Fellows work on their own machines for the sake of convenience, since they have other affiliations and prefer the mobility that this provides. If you would like to request the use of some College hardware, please Open a New Ticket and select 2.Desktop Services/New Hardware Request as the Help Topic and fill in the required fields to give us a few details. Fellows with specific Tutorial roles or other College responsibilities usually get priority for use of College equipment, however we're always keen to find solutions for people.

If you would like a keyboard or mouse to use while you're in College, we can certainly provide short-term loans on a fairly ad-hoc basis, however all other requests should be processed via the Desktop Services route outlined above.

Your Account:

Murray Edwards staff have an @murrayedwards.cam.ac.uk account for use with our network. These accounts are used to access the staff network and will log you into your account on any College desktop connected to the admin network. You will need your @murrayedwards account details for use with College printing services.

We can appreciate that some Fellows may find the idea of having another email account counterproductive; in our experience most will prefer to keep all academic correspondence in their @cam.ac.uk account. If you would like your @murray email address to automatically forward all email to your @cam address, you can follow these easy steps.
